2012-December: The Table Runner!

This was a handmade gift for my book club's White Elephant/Yankee Swap style Christmas gift exchange.  You know, where you don't buy anything and either make something or find something somewhat nice around your house to get rid of, that others might want.  Then in a (wholly unfair) game, people blindly choose gifts, steal gifts, end up with gifts, [drink wine] and have fun. :)

I always make something nice, because I love to make stuff!  I painted a blank white table runner and it ended up with my pal Kerry!  Looking back on these photos, this really was cool.  I may have to make more of these!

Here are a couple progress pictures.  I remember it was so big, I had to work on it in sections and wait for it to dry.

2012-December: Story Time Trainers

These were for E!  She has always loved reading and loved having all her favorite characters on these undies.  It's so important with potty training for the child to have FUN with it!  These were really fun to make (out of another pair of white Imse Vimses).  I do love to draw!

2012-November: shirts!

The other shirt in the custom order, for the older sister!  It was fun doing the bold colors on this one.  I loved doing the fairies' hair and glowy aura, too. :)

These were for my daughter, decorated with her favorite toys and characters at the time.  I started with white Imse Vimses and used markers and paints.

2012-October: Onesie for Kellan

This was another commission for the same friend.  She was going to give it as a gift, and I worked from a couple family photos.  I had fun making it as bold as possible!
